How to Cook Paella

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg Clams (pre-cooked)
  • 250 grams shrimp
  • Squid tentacles
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 pc white onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 pcs tomato
  • 1 pc red bell pepper
  • 1 stalk leeks
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp seasoning granules
  • Oil for sauté
  • Water
  • Squeeze lemon
  • Black olives (optional)
  • Kasubha (Saffron Local)

Procedures:

  1. Prepare all the ingredients and cut.
  2. Heat the pan with oil then sauté the onion and garlic.
  3. Add the mix seafoods and stir it well.
  4. Add the tomato and bell pepper.
  5. Add squeeze lemon and stir.
  6. Add a little of tomato paste and ketchup.
  7. Stir it well then removed from the pan. Set aside.
  8. Add some oil then sauté the garlic and leeks.
  9. Season with salt, pepper, seasoning granules and sugar.
  10. Add the tomato paste, ketchup and water.
  11. When is boiling add the uncooked rice?
  12. Stir it well until boiling, when its boiling turns the heat into low and cover.
  13. When it reduces put the sauté seafoods and veggies as toppings then cover with foil until well cook.
  14. Served and enjoy
