Ingredients:
- 1 kg Pork Liempo / Belly part
- 4 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1 tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp seasoning granules
- 1 tsp pepper
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oil
- Foil
For BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 3 pcs Calamansi
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp fried garlic
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
Procedures:
- Prepare all the ingredients, wash and cut.
- In a big bowl marinate the pork belly with salt, sugar, pepper, oil, garlic, seasoning granules and soy sauce. Marinate overnight.
To make the BBQ sauce.
- Mix all the ingredients for BBQ Sauce in a clean bowl mix well and set aside.
- Grilled the marinated pork belly for 7 minutes each side or until cook.
- Brushed all the grilled pork belly with BBQ sauce and wrap with foil and put back into grill pan, but removed some charcoal or spray the charcoal with water to low the heat temperature to avoid burning.
- Keep it in the griller for another 10 minutes with low heat only.
- Served with white rice, enjoy
