Homemade Sukang Cebu (Pinakurat)/Spiced Vinegar

A plate of crispy fried chicharon pieces, golden and puffed, served alongside a small dish of vibrant orange Sukang Cebu vinegar dipping sauce. The crispy snack is arranged in an oval-shaped white plate, with the chicharon showing a light and crunchy texture. The vinegar dip in the background adds a bright contrast, complementing the rich and savory taste of the chicharon.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Liter Coconut Vinegar/Tuba
  • ½ cup Fish Sauce
  • 3 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 big Onion
  • 1 big Garlic
  • 10 – 20 pcs. Chili
  • Ginger
  • Lemon Grass

Procedures:

  1. Wash and cut all the Ingredients.
  2. Blend all the ingredients in a Blender.
  3. If there is no blender. Finely Chopped the ginger, garlic, onion, chili, lemon grass and mix with Vinegar.
  4. Serve with your favorite Chicharon or dried fish. Enjoy
